في عملية حصر كميات المشروع للأعمال الميكانيكية, من أكثر البنود التي يُستصعب حصرها هي مجاري الهواء وذلك لأن حصر كميات هذا البند يتم بوحدة الكيلو الغرام, ولأن أشكال مجاري الهواء مختلفة وعديدة خاصة الوصلات (Fittings). لهذا فإن عملية حساب كتلة الصاج, وحتى العزل الخارجي والداخلي أيضًا تحتاج الإحاطة ببعض المعلومات والمعايير لتتم على الوجه المطلوب, لهذا فقد تم في هذه المحاضرة توضيح المفاهيم والمعايير التي يحتاجها المهندس لإتمام هذا العمل, بالإضافة إلى شرح كيفية استعمال Excel Sheet من إعداد المهندس ظافر عسقلان, حيث يتمكن المهندس من خلالها حساب كتلة مجاري الهواء و Fittings وأيضًا حصر كميات العزل الداخلي والخارجي بطريقة سهلة وسلسة, وبدقة ممتازة.
